Log In To Love City started poorly, to the point I almost dropped the story. Thankfully I kept going, since it’s rapidly improving.

BBQ restaurant owner by day and romance novelist by night, Narae is too busy with work to ever pursue the love of her dreams.

So when set up on a blind date, she jumps all in — only to be brutally rejected and left feeling hopeless.

That is, until she gets a strange text and ends up in a game…

I struggled so much to find information about this manhwa! It was a real struggle since the title doesn’t end up on any searches for me.

Somehow I managed to find some information, thankfully.

This story is available on Manta.net, with 23 episodes so far. From what I understood, there’s about 65 episodes available to this story. It’s also fully completed since December 2020.

Initially I wasn’t liking this story too much. Our protagonist Narae kept making the same stupid mistakes constantly, such as not reading the manual. This is really bad, since she can literally die due to it. It was just frustrating to read and I almost dropped the manhwa completely.

I’m never a fan of a story with a badmouthing, loud heroine who lacks basic common sense. So no, I don’t think the story is that amazing quite yet.

Overall I’m liking the story’s unique setting but the old granny who put Narae in the game seems quite like a villain. I get she’s pissed off at Narae, but don’t punish others for it.

To me it seems this story is mainly using comedic gags with the characters paying the price. It could have been, but I’m honestly a bit annoyed. I feel like Narae is a typical idiotic female lead. I don’t really have any sympathy for her, nor for her inability to find love.

I’m all for acting like yourself, but there’s a limit to how you act in front of others. Her blind date goes to sh*t since she’s acting like a slob and pig. Had she actually behaved properly, maybe she would have hit it off better.

And yes, act yourself and all that… but would you go on a 2nd date with someone who smells bad? Someone who eats like a pig, devouring the food in one bite basically? Or someone is loud and curses every couple of sentences. Doubtful.

Recommendation: I mean, the art is gorgeous but Narae as a person pisses me off. I hope we’ll see some real character development soon.
