Taming The Lady Summary
Istina is just an ordinary high school girl until lightning strikes. Upon opening her eyes, she realizes that she wakes up inside her favorite novel.
At first, she’s ecstatic that she’ll get to meet her favorite character, Laon, but her excitement quickly dies down when she gets a look at her reflection in a mirror.
The beautiful little girl looking back at her, with red hair and purple eyes, is the bully who torments Laon relentlessly and makes his childhood a living hell.
But mending her relationship with Laon isn’t the only thing Istina has to worry about. Laon’s fate is dying while protecting the female lead, but Istina isn’t about to let that happen, even if it means that she’ll have to get her hands dirty.

The starts off with a short recap of the original novel, where our female lead is going to end up.
She’s explaining in her head how the novel receives a great trashing from fans since it ends in an odd way.
Furthermore, the author of the story deletes their account and is nowhere to be seen. I’m not sure why, but I have an inkling the novel may have been sucking up the author, too.
Anyway, our female lead decides to head out to a store, only for lightning to hit and put her in the novel’s world. However, she’s in the body of a girl who keeps harassing the 2nd male lead.
In order to get close to the 2nd male lead, she now has to beg his forgiveness and become his friend!
Overall I’m not feeling a great sense of wanting to read on, but it’s not a horrible story. I just feel like the authors are re-hashing the same plot points, it makes very little point in reading on.
It’s the same thing over and over again. Female lead ends up in a novel, wants to protect some male lead from death. She ends up having him fall in love with her, despite not liking her originally. Same thing over and over again, it’s getting boring.
I’m also really, really hating red hair with pink clothes. You’re not Ariel, please stop acting like you are.
Recommendation: I’m not loving the story, but I suppose if you’re feeling bored you may want to check it out. It’s the same type of tropes as most stories, so expect a girl chasing after a male lead.
