A Wife’s Sweet Revenge is a bit rushed, but I understand the female lead’s need for revenge. I’m not sure I’m loving the story, though.

A Wife’s Sweet Revenge Summary
Dayoung Kim happily donated her liver to her mother-in-law, but all she got was betrayal in return.
Her husband’s whole family nefariously used and abused her, kicking her out before she even fully recovered from surgery. They went on with their lives, blissfully unaware that Dayoung swore revenge.
She begins to systematically destroy their lives as they did hers, but what happens when someone unexpected gets in the way of her best-laid plans?
Will accomplishing her mission bring her happiness… or will it only get in the way of true love?MU
A Wife’s Sweet Revenge feels like it’s so-so in terms of a good plot.
There’s multiple question marks I just can’t fully grasp, including how our female lead’s husband or partner can take tests in her name.
Especially without her knowing, is bribing really such a big thing in Asia?
Furthermore, how stupid is she for just blatantly trusting a guy she’s only known for a few months.
Although I can understand wanting to be loved, this is on a whole other level. It’s not even about trusting someone, more so being actively manipulated by them.
The female lead’s friend tries to warn her, but obviously she doesn’t listen to them.
I do think the plot itself could be good, but it feels forced and something which “only happens” in cartoons. The conflict itself could happen, but it’s not portrayed in a great way.
I do like the art of the comic, though. The characters are sometimes drawn quite good, but sometimes it’s a bit less good when it comes to the quality, though.
As for the revenge part, I do quite like it and I’m looking forward to her destroying the family. They deserve it!
Final thoughts: Not great but not bad, I think you can probably check it out for yourself and make up your mind afterwards.
