What Subaru Sarashina Says Goes! is such a cliché manga series. Don’t bother reading the story if you like dominating male leads.

What Subaru Sarashina Says Goes isn’t a good story from what I can tell.

The female lead is a bit of a pushover, but she’s also being bullied by the male lead. No matter what she says, he’s ignoring it and just doing whatever he wants to do.

The @sshole of Subaru forces the female lead to do things she’s not comfortable with. During a photoshoot he forces her into, he confesses to loving her.

Talk about manipulating her in an already vulnerable position. She’s literally flashing her bosom to him in a bed and it doesn’t matter if she’s “liking it” or not, you simply don’t do that.

Gah! I’m feeling so annoyed at Subaru and I’m hoping I never have the displeasure of reading more about these male protagonists.

During the photoshoot, our female lead is forced to be in revealing positions. It’s honestly quite sickening to read and I get it’s an older manga series but come on.

Subaru is honestly one of the worst male characters I’ve seen in a long time, I’m serious.

Subaru is honestly one of the worst male characters I’ve seen in a long time, I’m serious. The story reminds me slightly about The Boy Out Of My Reach, but Subaru Shina is worse.

Our female lead is wanting to go on a blind date, but he’s now allowing her to go. He is not allowing her to go. He is NOTHING to her, he has no right to demand anything from her.

I hate controlling arseholes, especially the ones like Subaru Shina who behaves like an entitled little sh*t. The worst part he’s probably justifying it by his love for Hatoko, but that’s not love.

It’s sexual harassment and not exactly a decent way to treat the person you allegedly love.

Final thoughts: I’m not liking the story at all. I’m not going to continue reading this and I don’t think it’s worth reading. It’s definitely not worth purchasing and supporting this type of series and abusive behaviour. I don’t care if someone changes or not, it’s promoting an unhealthy stereotype.
