The Sacrificial Princess is quite an interesting tale of a princess not worth anything. Due to some circumstances, she manages to gain the favour of a god.

The Sacrificial Princess Summary
“You, who has always been useless all your life, can now be useful for once.”
Ludis, an illegitimate child of the Emperor, is always abused by her own father due to her lameness and uselessness. She was offered to an ancient god so as to save their Empire that was currently in crisis. In the midst of offering herself, a man approaches her.
‘Who would have thought that I’d die in this way…’
“What’s your wish?”
Hair as dark as the night sky and eyes as bright as the stars. Ludis found it harder and harder to breathe being next to him.
“I don’t know what to wish for.”
“Tell me anything you want. I’ve waited for five thousand years just to give you what you want.”
The princess, Ludis, who become a sacrifice for the Empire, is now in a contract with the ancient god, Lavane.MU
I was having some pre-determined thoughts about this manhwa initially, which changes throughout.
At first glance, the plot seems very basic in terms of sacrifices happening to sate some god. I was assuming, quite wrongly, that Ludis would go back in time.
When that doesn’t happen, I’m even more surprised to read on and realize she’s having everyone kiss up to her. The emperor and his off-spring still want to treat Ludis like shit, though. Yet, they’re forcing themselves to treat her slightly better.
Some people don’t want this story to be a typical romance story where the female lead gets saved all the time. Nor do they want her to be a pushover and forgive everyone involved.
Neither do I, but I don’t feel like it’s realistic to expect huge character development in only 15 chapters. I’m expecting Ludis to change and become more comfortable with herself. I also expect her to realize her worth and stand up against others and their schemes.
However, that may take some time and we can’t rush it.
Not to mention, she clearly makes it known she wants to live during the actual sacrifice part. She even tries to stab an ancient god, that takes some courage. She has guts, just give her some time.
The ancient god is pretty hot, too. Always a bonus with some eye candy in manhwas.
Recommendation: So far I’m quite intrigued by this story and will keep an eye on it. It has potential and I’m hoping it will surprise me.
