Protect My Star is fan-service at a high level, especially if you like men looking cutesy. Sadly our main leads got off on the wrong foot, at least from one side.

Protect My Star Summary
Lu Yan was an unknown trainee who had few fans. One day, he is noticed by Hua Can, a popular influencer of the fandom world.
She make him take pictures of crossdressing and yaoi.
Intolerable as he might feel, these pictures did help him become famous overnight.
He creates a new account on social media to approach our female lead. Because he want her to know that he is a real man!MU
Protect My Star is kind of low-key hilarious. Our male lead, Lu Yan, is used to being a macho-man.
However, his popularity only increases when he’s acting cutesy and dressing up in cutesy clothes.
His popularity skyrockets when Hua Can notices his stream. She’s off to draw cutesy illustrations of him and sharing online. His fame skyrockets up to 200k fans from just a few thousands prior to that.
Of course, he’s not happy about that but his manager gives him no choice. As he tries to act sexy on social media, his fan amount plummets again.
I quite like our female lead, too. She seems to be very nervous in places with multiple people, enjoying to stay at home more than not. It seems she’s a bit of a recluse.
She’s also very nice and asks the trainee if he’s ok with the fanart continuing being posted. Of course, it’s the manager that sees this and answers for Lu Yan. Good thing, otherwise our story would have ended there.
Overall it seems to be a cute story about two different people coming together due to opposite interests.
Recommendation: Might be worth checking out, it’s quite funny sometimes and the art is nice.
