Why Ophelia Couldn’t Leave Summary
Ophelia became part of the Duke’s Family through her mom’s divorce.
However, her mother and stepfather died in a carriage accident. Late at night, at the end of the funeral, Ophelia was unable to escape from the duchy because of her stepbrother, Alexander.
The two slowly grew closer and became attracted to one another, but one day, an investigator comes in to say some shocking things…MU
There’s few stories I know are good by just reading a few chapters.
Some of them end up waning off towards the end chapters and I don’t know if this is one of them.
However, Why Ophelia Couldn’t Leave, starts off interestingly and continues being interesting for several chapters.
Ophelia is the female lead and the male lead is her step-brother, Alexander, due to marriage. You see, her mother continuously marry other men and they end up dying.
We eventually find out a reason to why they die, I think. It’s not fully clear but I can only assume that’s what’s going on.
However, one day the female lead’s mother dies alongside her current husband in an accident.
The female lead is left in the family and expects to leave, since she obviously can’t stay. However, the male lead is really insistent she stays.
What I enjoy in the story are the twists and turns, we don’t know what’s going on. It’s equal parts romance as mystery, and tragedy. It’s just a wild ride and I must say I really enjoy it!
It goes without saying, but the art is really good, too!
Final thoughts: It’s a really good story and I recommend you check it out! Give it a few chapters to really get going.
