Please Be Obsessed With Me [1st Impression]

Please Be Obsessed With Me is a slightly confusing time travel story. It’s progressing slowly but also fast, making it a bit hard to keep up with it.

Please Be Obsessed With Me Summary

Arabella is a forgotten princess who vomits blood whenever she moves.

After being killed during the rebellion against the oppression of the Imperial Family, she returns to the time before her 20th birthday.

Realizing that she must survive until her 25th birthday in order to stop the regression cycle, Arabella decides to look for a way to cure her illness, even if it meant seeking answers from the rebel forces themselves.

Obsessed With Me
Please Be Obsessed With Me features a quite pitiful female character, who is suffering from some type of illness.

She’s basically weak and no one bothers with her. However, after she dies a few times she realizes she needs to change.

Although her reasoning for growing close to the rebels are solely to stay alive, I do believe she starts caring for them. And they for her, which I hope means she won’t die.

Overall the story isn’t bad but I mean, there’s a lot of stories floating around and I’m not sure this stands out enough. Her behavior isn’t really unrealistic, which is nice I suppose.

Obsessed With Me
She uses the knowledge she gains from dying to find ways to change her future.

However, it’s hardly anything surprising or strange happening in these stories.

Likewise, I feel like there’s going to be a love triangle happening in the series, which is a bit blegh. Or maybe a square, love square.

Why even bother when we know she’s going to end up with the dark-haired person. Very rarely do I see the female lead end up with someone who isn’t having the “main character aura”.

The art isn’t too bad actually. I’d even go as far as to say it’s quite pretty sometimes, but there’s times it looks average.

Final thoughts: It’s not horrible but it’s not the best either. Read if you want or don’t, it’s nothing too special.
