I kind of liked “Mysteries Of Tong” and the first two chapters. It certainly seemed to have potential but I just can’t continue reading it.

Compressed Summary of Mysteries Of Tong from 1stKissManga
The gifted girl, Tong, has a fatal illness with the symptom of aging rapidly if not using herb rain intensively. In order to survive, she has to keep her brain processing complicated information and solving mysteries, to relieve her symptoms [….]
That being said, I just can’t get over the panels. I hate it so much, it’s practically unreadable. Old school type of panels.. I’ve become spoiled. The male protagonist we’re introduced to seems to be an average person, nothing too special. I suppose he’s smart but after Tong’s brilliant show off, he doesn’t look amazing.

On his way to school he comes across an old lady, which he trips over. She’s reading the newspaper intently on the ground. He rushes off after she tells him she’s fine.
Later on he encounters a school mate in a female bathroom (he went in the wrong door). This female starts explaining why and how an event took place. This event ended up scaring a little girl that was in one of the stalls. Thankfully it was just a flooding that had caused a mannequin to get stuck in one of the stalls.
Of course, we later find out the old woman and the female from the toilet are one and the same. Apparently she feeds off using her brain, or something like that. So no mysteries = death. I’d already be dead, that much I can tell you.
I’m not going to continue this story because it’s not my cup of tea. I did like the initial chapters so maybe there’s some potential for it, especially if you like comedy and mystery.
