My Sweet Demon Boss Summary

All of a sudden, my parents are deciding they’re playing matchmaker and setting me up with another man.

I don’t have a boyfriend and I thought it wouldn’t hurt to meet the guy, but it turns out to be my manager, a.k.a. The Demon Boss!

Moe feels scared when her parents forces her and the Demon Boss to live together on the premise of marriage. But, to her surprise, the manager seems like a totally different person at home…?

A sweet slapstick office romance between a Demon Boss and his klutzy subordinate.

My Sweet Demon Boss [First Impression]
I actually quite like this story, which is saying something considering the tropes in it. Not only do we have an office romance, with a klutzy employee and her boss, but also some fantasy aspects.

The families these two potential lovebirds belong to are used to having one type of gender for babies. Moe’s family only has boys, until she’s born. Whereas the demon boss only has daughters in their family line.

According to the demon boss, once they marry and make a baby, the curse is broken. Although he confesses it’s probably just an excuse and not actually a curse.

Anyway, the families are eagerly wanting them to get together. In order to slowly soothe them and get the families used to no marriage happening, they’ll live together for about 6 months.

As you probably guess, we can look forward to some cute and heart-warming moments between the future couple. I’m still not 100% sure if the story is going to be without any other clichés, but it doesn’t really matter.

I am looking forward to reading some more of this series, I even use my own tickets on Pocket Comics to read further than the free chapters. I like the fact the male lead isn’t the typical overbearing snotty male lead. Well, he is at work but not towards Moe.

He treats her with respect from what I can see and not forcing himself on her. At least up until chapter 7 but I guess we’ll have to see further along.

Recommendation: If you have Pocket Comics, check it out! One free chapter per day isn’t a bad deal after all. Plus the story seems relatively cute so far.
