My Princess Charming summary from Pocket Comics
Twenty-one year old Yuna is tired of having guys hit on her all the time. As popular as she is, she’s been single her whole life.
Just when she decides to make herself a boyfriend to fend off guys, she meets a handsome guy who looks good enough to be her boyfriend. But wait, the guy is actually a girl! In fact, rumor says that Min is a lesbian. Nonetheless, the two decide to pretend to be in a romantic relationship.
The story has a basic plot but it’s still quite funny. Yuna sets her eyes on the attractive Min, only to realize he is actually a she. Surprisingly, this doesn’t stop her from entering into a fake relationship with the boyish looking woman.
Quite quickly Yuna thinks she’s falling in love with Min and is expecting Min to fall head over heels for her, too. Unbeknownst to her and us, Min seems to like someone else…
Yuna is a pretty shallow person who seems to be know men want her. She’s stuck up on the fact she’s pretty, to the point she doesn’t seem to have any other redeeming qualities.
Despite that, she’s not nearly as annoying as some other female characters I’ve seen. Her attitude and confidence becomes a type of self-decrepit joke. One of her closer friends seem to know she’s full of it and says whatever comes to her mind. Sadly, Yuna isn’t the type to listen attentively, regardless of the information.
Yuna is seemingly an attractive woman, with long, blonde hair and feminine features. Min is more boyish, with androgynous looks, short hair and more dressed in jeans than skirts. It’s easy to see why Yuna mistakes her for a guy.
In my opinion, they make a nice pair. Min is seemingly more down to earth and not the type who is boisterous. Whereas Yuna is all over the place with her energy.
It was amusing to see how Yuna attempts flirting with Min, only for it to backfire badly. It was like she was immune to Yuna’s charm, which definitely couldn’t be the case, right?
I wasn’t expecting the talking cucumber joke, which cracks me up. The guy in the story is so creepy and delusional, but it was a good thing Min decides to help Yuna. Overall I’m enjoying this story, although I’m unsure which direction it will go from now on.
