My Brother’s Friend Summary

Nanase, a polite, a little old-fashioned girl, got a boyfriend for the first time. He, a pure and kind guy, is a good friend of her brother.

However, both of them have no idea what they should do next…

For Nanase, holding hand would be too embarrassing, and ‘date’ is something mature people would do.

My Brother's Friend [Recommendation]
I was expecting some very different manga series than I ended up reading.

The story is surprisingly light-hearted and fun, with a lot of sweet moments between our main couple.

One thing I do like is that the misunderstandings end up solving themselves quite quickly. There’s some cliché moments in the series, but I don’t mind them too much.

Our female lead has a brother, as the title suggests. They have rooms next to each other, with a really thin wall which makes her able to hear everything from her brother’s room.

For instance, she ends up hearing her brother’s friend confessing he actually likes her. I also quite like how he treats her, with him being super shy and blushing around her.

There are some clichés like I previously wrote, but they’re thankfully not too bad. They’re solved quickly and further improve the relationship.

Other clichés include taking care of a sick person, random people hitting on the female lead and so on. Thankfully it’s not overbearing and it also gives up some nice moments between the characters.

Final thoughts: I’ve read up until chapter 24 or something, and so far I’m loving it! The story is super adorable.
