I Lost The Leash Of The Yandere Male Lead seems to have a lot of potential, but I’m not loving the art. It looks really odd and off.

I Lost The Leash Of The Yandere Male Lead Summary
I transmigrated into a novel and became the villainess, Serina who comes from the noble Ducal Melford family.
As a well-to-do character, I tried to mind my own business, but the story had other ideas. A self-proclaimed mother brought back a boy – the duke’s heir and a genius wizard – intent on brainwashing and blackening him.
The contents of brainwashing are two things:
1. Obey our family.
2. And fall in love with Serina.
Thanks to that, the brainwashed twisted yandere is obsessed with me… I can’t do this. I have to undo the twisted character’s brainwashing!
By the way, what’s this situation?
“Now that the brainwashing is gone, I’ll do as I please. So Serina, please, let’s do our best.”
I’ve solved his brainwashing… but why does he seem even crazier than before— Did I make a mistake?MU
I Lost The Leash Of The Yandere Male Lead seems like a good story initially, but I’m just not loving it yet.
The art is off, in some way or form. I just can’t pinpoint why it’s looking so odd but I think it’s the eyes.
The family reminds me a lot of the Agriche family in Roxana, but less evil. There’s just something missing f rom the story to make it stand out.
Our two main characters are definitely a bit peculiar, with the male lead seemingly brainwashed to obey the female lead only. However, I doubt he’s actually brainwashed and more like pretending.
The female lead’s mother is also attractive but cruel, having an iron grip on the family. However, the plot seems quite convoluted and not very unique.
We have powerful families, brainwashing with candles, saints and so on. It’s seemingly like any old story we’ve read before, but I was hoping it would be better.
Final thought: I wanted to to be better, but sadly it’s not making me excited to continue reading onward.
