Kiss Me Please has a weird disease where the male lead can die if he doesn’t kiss once every 24 hours. It’s so stupid, it’s almost good.

Summary of “Kiss Me Please” from MU
A story about a man with a disease where he dies if he doesn’t kiss, and the secret kissing contract made in order to keep him alive; an office contract romance. (Hour of Lunacy)
Our protagonist is a female lead who always apologize for everything. She’s in a company where the older and more experienced bosses take credit for everything good that happens, and then pushes the blame on others.
This is a common theme in a lot of business-related manhwas. I can’t say if it’s accurate or not, but I can imagine it’s somewhat true.
Our female lead happens to be quite decent at her job, despite the bosses not listening to her advice. On top of that, it seems her father is hospitalized and in need of a surgery, or something. I’ve also read “loan” somewhere in the story, but I’m not sure if that pertain to the surgery or not.
The manhwa follows normal tropes, like our female lead has a social media account similar to Instagram. The male lead happens to like her posts and eventually find out its her.
What I found directly stupid is the disease, it’s so unrealistic and just… stupid. But whatever, there’s more issues with the manhwa than that. One is that the director’s friend and doctor acknowledges that our female lead is the guardian of a patient. That’s just a direct violation of privacy and should never happen.
Overall I do like the story though. It’s kind of stupid sometimes, but who doesn’t just want to read about an office romance now and again.
