Kill The Villainess

Kill the Villainess [First Impression]

Kill the Villainess has such a gorgeous female lead! I was staring at the cover, thinking I must read it. It’s a first with a villainess wanting to die, for sure.

Kill The Villainess Summary

I reincarnated in a novel inside the body of a villainess named Eris who poisoned herself when her fiancé, the prince, married her childhood friend, the maid Helena.

From the moment I realized this, I had only one goal. Escape from the world in this novel. Even after death, I tried to get out of this world but the ‘world’ did not allow it.

However, after rejecting the path of “Eris” in the original novel, the men who had persecuted and ignored Eris began to beg for her interest and affection. “Who are you?” the priest who revived Helena asked.

“You… are you really Eris?” even the warrior who pledged eternal loyalty to Helena asked. #You have changed,” said the prince who rejected Eris in order to marry Helena.

It was strange. No one was interested in Eris before. “I don’t want to get affectionate even as time passes.” She has no confidence in loving this world.

Kill The Villainess
I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting our heroine to want to die in the story. Normally the villainess try their best to survive at all cost but not this time.

Either our main lead is delusional about the fact she’s going to be able to return home, or she’s correct. It definitely sounds like she won’t be happy in the isekai world regardless what she does.

Despite her best attempts, she just can’t die. No matter what is happening or what she’s doing, she’s surviving.

In fact, our Eris is trying to end her life in the world but everything goes against her. She jumps down the balcony, she’s caught. If she takes sleeping pills, she just sleeps for a really long time. Imagine that, must be infuriating to be stuck like that in this odd world.

Our female lead, Eris, looks utterly gorgeous. I love the design of the black hair and emerald green eyes. She’s a really interesting character, since she has no interest staying in the world. In fact, I’d say she’s very much a pitiful character who seems to be unable to adjust to the world.

악녀를 죽여 줘

I’m really hating the crown prince, he seems like a bit of a bxtch. I’m reminded of a combination of Sovieshu from Remarried Empress and some other character I can’t remember the name of..

The female everyone seems to have a crush on reminds me of Rashta. I’m not going to be surprised if she’s actually quite villainous in nature.

So far I’m really enjoying this story! I really hope it becomes licensed soon because it’s very different from normal stories I’ve read so far.

Recommendation: Definitely check it out. It seems to be new thinking and it’s keeping me engaged into what’s happening.

    1. I wish it becomes officially translated eventually! I’ve only see a few chapters translated to English and non-officially translated…
