The Villainous Princess Wants To Live In A Gingerbread House summary
I think I’ve been reincarnated as Aisha, a child in a dirt poor but happy family, when one day…
“We are here to pick up Her Royal Highness Anastasia, the imperial grandchild!”
…It seems I’m possessing the body of the princess. In the ‘original story’, I’m craving power, only to meet a tragic end.
Demonstrating I’m not interested in power and fulfilling a dream of being a pâtissier. Which I’m unable to achieve in my past life, I bake sweets with the help of a contract spirit.
You’ll feel better if you eat something delicious, and you won’t have to kill me!
But the harsh and heartless emperor (grandfather), and the Crown Prince (cousin) who will bring me to ruin, as well as the young duke (cousin’s friend) who is the greatest knight in the empire, and even the slave knight (elf) who stabbed me…!
“Your Highness’ lime pie is good.”
…Don’t tell me these people are besotted with me rather than the sweets?
Aisha’s baking & healing fantasy, sweet and lovely like dessert!MU
The story is an isekai story, where our female lead thinks she’s just going to live in a loving but poor family.
However, it all changes when royal knights come and brings her to the palace.
It seems the father is some prince, who runs away to marry another woman. In this world, it seems many of the imperial family have spirits, and Aisha also gets one.
From what I can see, it seems the spirit she receives is quite a powerful one but she’s trying to hide it. She ends up getting the attention of her grandfather, by making some delicious pastries.
Exactly what she doesn’t want happening, since she just wants to go back home! Alas, it seems she’s going to be sticking around in the palace.
I’m quite liking the story and I also like the family, which is seen being very lovely towards her.
They’re giving her meat in her stew, practically starving themselves. They also have reverse gender roles, with the female being the warrior and the man being the chef at home.
Now, the female lead doesn’t want to live in the palace. She really just wants to head home and be with her parents, saying as much to her grandfather.
It seems the father isn’t exactly in favour of his father, the grandfather. They keep mentioning him running away, marrying a commoner. It’s honestly just a tale of true love!
