Hello Dosa [First Impression]

I was not expecting to be liking “Hello Dosa” as much as I did! I enjoyed both the plot and the art and I definitely think you should check it out.

Hello Dosa Summary from MangaUpdates

Hello again it is nice to meet you again in this life?

“This is a story of a genius master and a girl he must keep.“

The first thing we’re greeted with is a warning of 12 years+, thankfully I’m at least double that age. I suppose the warning is since “Hello Dosa” is featuring heavier topics.

Hello Dosa is featuring a very nice art style, which I really like. Our characters have thicker outlines, and the inside of their faces are blended nicely.

It’s clear something has happens in the past, since the whole point of the taoist to find the girl is being based of what happens in the past. We’re briefly given glimpses of the previous lives the main characters used to be sharing, but not a lot is explained.

We’re also being treated to some nice mythological monsters or creatures, ready to be killing our female lead due to her wish to die.

The first chapter set up the plot and we’re given an introduction to why our female protagonist is being treated the way she is. Apparently everyone who comes close to her suffers accidents, some even of the deadly kind.

She’s ostracized by her own family and is thus feeling quite down about her very existence.

Although a lot seems to connect to the past, the story is set in the current, modern day South Korea. This is mainly due to the fact he uses a spell or something via his smartphone. Pretty neat, if I say so myself. Better hope the battery time is great, though.

Recommendation: If you like supernatural/mythology, this story may just be perfect for you.
