Head Over Heels is a really weird manhwa series, but I kind of like it. It’s so odd that it just works, despite the various dubious morals portrayed.

Head Over Heels Summary
Woohyun is rich, good-looking and popular… but he also happens to be a total bully.
His punching bag is Ha Yan, a stuttering and amenable girl in his class. Woohyun likes nothing more than harassing her…
The weird thing is, Ha Yan actually seems to crave his attention, feeding off it.
As they each spin a web of deceit to ensnare the other, who will end up getting caught? And could romance bloom from this tangled, thorny mass of obsession?Lezhin
Head Over Heels features a really dysfunctional “couple”, if you can call it that.
Woohyun is bullying Ha Yan, including dumping milk on her and other acts of cruelty. However, she seems to be enjoying the attention more than anything.
We’re soon realizing their relationship is not as simple as we’re initially lead to believe, instead… it’s twisted.
I’m not sure if the story itself changes later on, but the initial 8 chapters are really interesting. The manhwa is complete with about 60+ chapters, so that’s always something.
It reminds me slightly of another story, but that one isn’t nearly as messed up.
Overall I quite like the story and art, although the characters are the way they are. If you don’t like people being messed up in the head, you’re not going to like this one.
I don’t think this story will end with a happy ending, you’ve been warned. Needless to say, it also contains some abuse which you should be aware of, too.
Final thoughts: The story seems really messed up, but I’m liking it a lot. I think the story is relatively unique and it’s all interesting reading about their relationship.
