10 Years In The Friendzone is quite a pitiful story in several ways. Yul is rejecting Shiho so many times it’s only fair if she gets rejected, too.

10 Years In The Friendzone summary
Generally, when a person is rejected after admitting their feelings to someone the rejected will try to move on. They certainly don’t stay friends… Unless you’re Shiho and Yul.
The two were born on the same day and have been attending the same schools for the past ten years.
They’ve also been playing a little game where Shiho confesses his feelings for Yul, and Yul tells him to try harder.
The result? Shiho’s become a perfect student, and all the girls at school like him. But now the two are starting high school together and it seems like the little “game” they’ve been playing might have more players.
The rules are changing quickly – is it too late for anything more to develop between Shiho and Yul?
It goes without saying I don’t really like Yul, for many different reasons.
The fact she has been rejecting him for so many years is quite annoying and rude towards him. I suppose she’s not wanting to ruin their friendship, but stringing someone along for 10 years is quite bad.
Likewise, Shiho is a simp for allowing himself to be strung along for 10 years. Don’t you have any self-respect?! Then when she’s speaking to her friend and thinking to herself, she realizes she actually do like him. She’s worrying he is going to be whisked away, but why don’t you just agree to date then?!
Something I also found annoying was how Shiho seems to go into any club Yul went to. Like, you don’t need to be in the same club all the time. Talk about an easy way to piss someone off, especially when he’s taking all the limelight.
I’m not sure how deep this plot will go into jealousness and dating others, but it seems at least one other person is interested in Shiho. This girl, who happens to be a student council president and is a bit of a tsundere. The guy even asks for her to not kill him!
She is having difficulties expressing her emotions, like everyone else in this manhwa.
I just can’t say whether I like this one or not. It could be good, but then I read some comments and they claim it’s just time skipping. So what, we’re not even getting some character developments then? Ugh, the characters are pissing me off a bit too much to continue this.
Recommendation: Give a few chapters a try but don’t have high expectations.
