Enemies should settle but not be friends [First Impression]

Enemies Should Settle But Not Be Friends is a decent manhua, but hardly too amazing. The female lead is kind of annoying, too.

The female lead is in my opinion quite annoying. She wants to gain the attention of her idol, so she and her friend comes up with a stupid plan.

The plan is to basically fall on her idol and have him catch her. Of course that goes badly and she ends up pulling down the pants of the idol’s friend.

As humorous as this moment is, it just adds to my dislike to this girl. The idol’s friend is of course sporting SpongeBob SquarePants underwear which he so graciously ask his mom to stop buying.

Overall the story doesn’t seem to be too bad, but it’s not my favourite one, either. It’s quite a typical plot after all, so I’m not expecting too much from the story.

I must say the art is pretty good, which is always something. The female lead is drawn with average looks, which is further enhanced by the artist. You see, the art keeps putting the female lead in awkward positions which makes no sense.

Our female lead is also begging her mom to somehow get her into a high school where her idol goes to. The mom pulls some strings and manages this, only for the female lead to later beg to go to the other high school.

I understand it’s supposed to be funny, but it’s not. It just comes forward as her being immature and selfish.

Recommendation: You can skip it, it’s not worth bothering to read. Plus there’s few chapters available too, so no point getting attached.
