The Predator’s Contracted Fiancée is quite a confusing story with mature themes. It’s R15 but the original novel is for mature audiences only.

The Predator’s Contracted Fiancée Summary
Orphaned and living in a monastery, Elisha De Lauer was content and happy.
That was until the De Cartiers, known for having magical abilities, came to find her. This snake-filled family forces Elisha into a slave contract with their eyes on inheriting her many assets. After years of servitude to the De Cartiers, Elisha meets a gruesome end at the hands of her captors. That would’ve been the end of her tale, but as she closed her eyes to die, she awoke again in her own past as if nothing had ever happened.
With this second chance, she vows revenge on the De Cartiers and finds the perfect accomplice in rumored maniac, Lucerne Des Kayas. Lucerne, an outcast member of the De Cartier family, has also sworn revenge on them. But, his unwavering distrust of everyone stirs him to form a contract with Elisha only under one condition. She must agree to marry him.
Flung into a fake marriage, these two align to uncover the secrets of the De Cartiers and bring each member down. There’s just one secret they each can’t seem to figure out. Why does it seem like they have met before?Tappytoon
The Predator’s Fiancée title sounds like he’s a p*dophile, looking for young children. However, that’s not the case in this story.
My initial reaction was that the art is really good in this story. Both the female and male lead look good, in different ways. I couldn’t help but notice the large bosom from the female lead, though.
I suppose it does make sense, considering the original novel was R18+.
Now, the plot seems like it’s leading up to a lot of smut, but I’m not sure how much is going to be shown in the webtoon.
I’m assuming nothing graphic will be shown, just suggested. If it was actually showing anything, we’d have an 18+ rating.
The few chapters I read did make the story seem interesting, but it’s very confusing. It’s a time-travel story, which sees our female lead returning from a horrible future.
It seems there’s a lot of political context in this story, but since our female lead has lived a previous life – she knows what to expect. The other people in the family are trash, in multiple ways.
I’m not necessarily liking the patriarch of the family, but he seems somewhat decent and not overly annoying.
Final thoughts: I’m hesitating to recommend this story, since the plot is confusing. It feels like it was written as a p*rn with plot more so than an actual novel with real content.
