Choco Latte is such a cute story! What makes this cute romance story unique is the lack of dialogue.

Join high schoolers Kyle and Lilly as they discover hope, joy, and love in the simplicities of everyday life.
Sweet and heart-warming, just like a chocolate latte, their love story proves that actions speak louder than words.
This story is a really sweet story about a romance in high school! Kyle and Lilly’s relationship starts off sweet, with him giving her what I’d assume is a chocolate latte.
You see, our Lilly is apparently clumsy as well, since she woke up early to go to a bakery, only to stumble and have the bag fly into the river.
It gets worse, she then gives up her seat on the metro due to believing a woman is pregnant. She is, in fact, not pregnant. Sad and beaten down by life she heads to a café where the barista is Kyle.
Later on she discovers they’re going to the same school and they’ll be part of the same school committee. You can imagine yourself where this lovely story heads from there.
I really, really enjoy reading this story. It features no real dialogue, instead the artist utilizes expressions and other methods. For instance, when it comes to self-introduction in the committee, the other parts are blurred out.
This brings our focus to the introduction part and we instantly know what it is about.
Kyle is clearly more confident than Lilly, who is your typical shoujo heroine. She blushes, seems shy but all together a nice human. Kyle is seemingly suave in his mannerism.
Having read the story till chapter 60, I know there’s going to be some tropes and clichés but the unique way this story is made, kind of makes up for it.
It’s not overly annoying with love triangles, since those exist. Misunderstandings as well, but Kyle and Lilly seem to work through them anyway!
I also really like the art style, which is drawn with pastel colours. Lilly’s eyes are so beautiful with her icy blue colour.
Recommendation: Yes! Definitely worth reading this story since it’s so cute!
