A Mismatched, Complicated Love summary from MU

Saiga Kyousuke, the hottest boy in high school, has been rejecting confessions from every girl for one year straight.

What he wants is someone who is interesting and different from others. One day, he meets a mysterious junior who is more than a little different…

So our main male lead Saiga, is rejecting love confessions left and right. Of course, someone comes up with a brilliant idea of pretending to be a guy!

I am not exactly sure how that logic went, but if you’re gay… you don’t suddenly stop being gay. Regardless if you get confessed by someone who looks like a guy. It’s a bit weird in terms of plot but I can try to roll with it.

So our female lead, dressed up as a guy, asks Saiga out AGAIN. Of course, it’s still a no but this time Saiga is falling down the stairs. At least this time they have something to do with each other. The female lead decides to help him out!

We soon find out the female character was helped by Saiga when she twisted her ankle. The poor girl was even crawling to the school to make it in time! She’s obviously grateful, but she somehow misinterprets everything and thinks he’s homosexual.

Despite the obvious, potentially rude and disrespectful representation of homosexuality, it’s pretty good. The story is amusing overall and the art is decent. I can definitely see myself reading this more.

Recommendation: If you like gender bender set in school, might be a good option for you!
