15 Years Old: Starting Today We’ll Be Living Together is a trope-filled manga series which isn’t too bad. Yet, it contains some questionable moments.

15 Years Old: Starting Today We’ll Be Living Together Summary

“I was planning for us to stay just friends… but I’m not holding back anymore.”

I’m living with my childhood friend turned savage! My heart won’t stop throbbing as each day passes and he just won’t give up…!!

After entering high school, Hiyori is finally able to fulfil her dream of living alone. Or so she thought…

Her childhood friend Soushi is there waiting for her at her new apartment. He suddenly kisses her and Hiyori is unable to hide her confusion.

Is he teasing her? Or is this for real…?

For the first time, she begins to see Soushi, who she’d never paid too much attention to before, as a man.

At the age of 15, Hiyori begins her radical, new life living with Soushi!

15 Years Old: Starting Today We’ll Be Living Together is quite a cute story, with two childhood friends.

Our female lead starts out living in the countryside with her childhood friend. Since it’s the countryside, there’s not a lot of high schools so they’ll move.

When they graduated elementary school and are about to start high school, they move. However, our female lead doesn’t know she’s going to live with her childhood friend.

However, she doesn’t really think of Soushi as a man, but he proves her wrong with kissing her.

That being said, the story is slightly problematic with forceful kissing and taking advantage of someone sleeping.

Overall the story is interesting but there’s problematic parts. I’m also surprised the female lead’s mother allows her daughter to live with a man.

I get they’re childhood friends but they’re also opposite genders. And they’re hitting puberty, which is enough to have hormones flowing like crazy.

Some of the moments are pretty cute, with them sharing kisses and cooking lunch for each other. Other times it’s a bit problematic and not exactly something you can support, but that may just be me.

Final thoughts: Seems like a cute story with a lot of kissing and cute moments. However, it seems to have a lot of tropes and clichés I’m not loving, too.
